Jeffrey Edwards began his career at William A. Hazel, Inc. on June 7, 2021, as the Director of Safety. He progressed through the company, from Director of Safety to Vice President on May 1, 2023.
Jeffrey is responsible for the day-to-day administration of William A. Hazel’s Environmental, Health, Safety program, and assists HR with workers compensation cases.
Jeffrey, a native of Gordo Alabama, is a 1980 graduate of Gordo High School and attended the University of Alabama. To use a military term, Jeffrey took the Mustang route to becoming The Vice President of Safety.
He entered the workforce as a laborer in the Environmental remediation field where his passion for rules and the order of things, lead him to take certificate classes that lead him into roles such as, Industrial Hygienist, Certified Environmental Trainer, and Consultant. His passion for Safety was ignited in 2003 when he was hired as a Safety Coordinator for an Airport project. Jeffrey has continued his education in Safety through certification courses. In his spare time Jeffrey enjoys all things Alabama football and his family.
