Heavy Equipment Lube Tech
William A. Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor for over 60 years, is looking for a Heavy Equipment Lube Tech. This position reports to and is under the direction of the Field Service Manager. William A. Job Duties
- Must be able to change the oil in engines, hydraulics, final drives, differentials and other lubricated areas.
- Must be able to perform your tasks in a safe manner.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
- Must be able to maintain documentation of work performed in a thorough and timely manner.
- Must have 1-3 years’ experience.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Must lubricate and perform other small services to heavy mobile equipment in order to maximize the performance and limit downtime. Inspect all equipment to identify and schedule services based on company recommendations. Routinely perform oil samples and document anything that needs to be addressed to keep the machine at optimal performance. Must conform with and abide by all company policies, work procedures and instructions. Must have a CDL.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to fumes or air born particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
