Fairfax Corner

Fairfax Corner is one of William A. Hazel’s site development projects in Fairfax, Virginia, which was completed in 2003. Fairfax Corner is a mixed-use shopping center that offers main street style shopping at both national chains and local boutiques. It features fun events and entertainment, a state-of-the-art movie theatre, and some of the best restaurants in Fairfax. It also combines office spent for rent and residential living. It is located on Monument Drive near the Fairfax County Government Center.

William A. Hazel, Inc. completed site work construction for Fox Mill Estates in 1980. Fox Mill Estates consists of 1,120 homes that were built between 1972 and 1985. It is celebrating its 50^th Anniversary of the Fox Mill Homes Association this May. The community is located in western Fairfax County near the town of Herndon, VA and Reston, VA. The community is in quick proximity to the high-tech Dulles corridor.

Burke Centre is one of William A. Hazel’s site development projects, completed in 1982. Burke Centre is a 1700 acre Planned Residential Community with 5,862 homes. There are four neighborhoods in Burke Centre: The Oaks, The Ponds, The Landings, and The Woods. Within each neighborhood, homeowners are grouped into clusters and each neighborhood has its own community clubhouse, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Burke Centre also has a shopping mall and a man-made lake.

William A. Hazel, Inc. completed site work construction for Little Rocky Run in 1980. This community was one of the largest new developments in Northern Virginia in the early 1980’s, with more than 2,500 homes. The community sits off Braddock and Union Mill Roads, just south of Centreville in western Fairfax County.

Franklin Farm is one of William A. Hazel’s site development projects, completed in 1980. What was once farmland, Franklin Farm in Western Fairfax, became an 850-acre planned community along Centreville Road with 1,777 homes, open space, lakes, ponds and trails.

William A. Hazel, Inc. completed site work construction at Franklin Glen in Fairfax, Virginia in 1982. Franklin Glen is a diverse residential community that has 765 homes and has 108 acres of open space, located right off the Fairfax County Parkway between I-66 and the Dulles Toll Road, convenient to several retail stores and fine dining. The development includes several amenities such as a community pool, sports courts, Flatlick Branch Stream Valley green space, and playgrounds. 

William A. Hazel, Inc. completed site work construction for Fair Lakes in 1982. Fair Lakes is a mixed-use development of upscale residential apartments and commercial buildings. The main road in Fair Lakes is the Fair Lakes Parkway. Other major roads that pass through the area are the Fairfax County Parkway, West Ox Road, and Monument Drive. Fair Lakes is bordered by Centreville, Greenbriar and Fair Oaks.

William A. Hazel, Inc. completed site work construction for Ashburn Farms in 1996. Originally known as Farmwell, a residential development began on Ashburn Farm in 1985 and by 1996 was a major high-tech, commercial and residential district. Ashburn Farm consists of 3,844 homes with the first residents moving in during the year of 1988.

Fair Lakes Shopping Center is one of William A. Hazel’s site development projects, which was completed in 1994. This project is located in Fairfax County near Centreville, bounded by Fair Lakes Parkway and Route 66. The shopping center consists of 1,000,000+ square feet of retail and features the nation’s leading retailers and restaurants.

William A. Hazel, Inc. completed site work construction for South Riding in 2006. The initial developer starting the community in 1993 was Trafalgar House Residential but sold to Toll Brothers in 2000. South Riding has over 6,300 homes with 28,000 residents, an award-winning golf course, several parks and recreation amenities in one of the largest up-scale communities located in Loudoun County, Virginia.
