The Big Dig

In partnership with the American Cancer Society and Child Life specialists at INOA Children’s Hospital and in support of pediatric cancer research, William A. Hazel provides equipment and volunteers for The Big Dig event each year. Alongside our construction professionals, kids are invited to operate heavy equipment like excavators and scissor lifts.

Heavy Construction Contractors Association (HCCA)

HCCA partnered with Concrete Pipe & Precast and WG Construction to host a donation drive to support those impacted by Hurricane Helene. WAH, Inc. collected items at our office which were delivered in order to send with the other donated materials.

Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS)

William A. Hazel, Inc. volunteers for the NVFS, where our team has assisted with the sorting and drop off of school supplies items in order to assist students in our community who are in need.

Ringing In Hope 10K

The William A. Hazel team volunteered for the Ringing In Hope 10K on race day, to assist with race traffic and peer support.

Youth For Tomorrow (YFT)

William A. Hazel, Inc. has had a long relationship with Youth For Tomorrow, which supports at-risk children in the community to flourish and succeed. For years WAH has made a tradition of providing dozens of turkeys to YFT at Thanksgiving, along with helping to set up and take down their annual County Fair.

INOVA Blood Drive

The William A. Hazel team comes together to donate blood and platelets for the INOVA blood drive. Every drop counts! To find a donation center and support the cause, visit inovablood.org.

Spirit Rocks

The William A. Hazel team has placed Spirit Rocks at public schools in the area like Greenbriar West and LCHS No 11 Independence High School.

Fauquier SPCA

Our team volunteers at the Fauquier SPCA Animal Shelter, to both pull together supplies for the pet food drive and to walk the adorable dogs and cats of the shelter. To adopt from this wonderful shelter, visit the Fauquier SPCA website.

Friends of the Homeless
