Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor with more than 60 years of experience, is seeking an experienced <strong>Lowboy Truck Driver<\/strong> para unirse a nuestro equipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Qualification to drive, under both the DOT regulations and in the opinion of the company.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Safety Inspections and document as required. Documentation turned into&nbsp;&nbsp;Dispatcher daily.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Start engine, shift gears, press pedals and turn steering to operate truck.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Drive standard transmission truck to various job sites to load and offload materials.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Inspect&nbsp;and document&nbsp;&nbsp;lowboy trailer tires, lights, brakes, tarps, boards and frame.&nbsp;Defects will be documented&nbsp; on Daily Inspection Log.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatcher to recieve instructions.&nbsp;Cell Phone use is only done when vehicle is parked and off the roadway.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Maintain a daily inspection log.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Must keep track of expiration date of&nbsp;his\/her&nbsp;&nbsp;DOT physical card&nbsp;and CDL License.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;If truck breaks down:&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Know exact location of where you are.&nbsp;Street and\/or road name, Job name. Call into dispatcher to&nbsp;let them know about truck being down.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know roughly what broke (e.g. air line, engine failure, or flat tire).&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If job is&nbsp;completed&nbsp;early, must call dispatcher. Driver will be given&nbsp;a new assignment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Load&nbsp;and secure multiple&nbsp;types&nbsp;of&nbsp;heavy&nbsp;equipment.&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using chains and binders,&nbsp;equipment will meet standard legal requirements prior to leaving site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Put&nbsp;flags, warning lights,&nbsp;and signage in place prior to leaving site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requried to climb in and out of equipment&nbsp;using the standard three point&nbsp;contact&nbsp;method.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driver must report immediately to the Dispatcher any traffic&nbsp;citations&nbsp;either in a company vehicle or his own personal vehicle.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Driver&nbsp;is&nbsp;responsible&nbsp;to maintain&nbsp;a postive personal appearance and&nbsp;to&nbsp;maintain the overall cleanleness of his truck.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
