Hazel, Inc., a total site development contractor with more than 60 years of experience, is seeking an experienced <strong>Flatbed Driver<\/strong> para unirse a nuestro equipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Flatbed Driver reports to and works under the direction of the Yard Foreman. William A. Hazel, Inc. operates throughout Northern Virginia, with occasional work extending into West Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle and flatbed equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Properly inspect, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow applicable DOT regulations, company safety procedures, and load securement requirements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate effectively with the Yard Foreman and project personnel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a safe and professional work environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid Class A Commercial Driver\u2019s License (CDL) in good standing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legally authorized to work in the United States<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\u20133 years of flatbed driving experience; construction industry experience preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience safely securing and transporting oversized, irregular, or heavy loads, including heavy equipment, steel, and lumber<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean driving record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current DOT medical certification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working knowledge of applicable DOT regulations, load securement requirements, and hours-of-service regulations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work safely around active construction sites, heavy equipment, and machinery<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication skills and dependable attendance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work early mornings, occasional overtime, and weekends as project needs require<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to successfully complete the company&#8217;s applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Preferred but not mandatory:<\/span>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Endorsements: Doubles\/Triples, Tanker, or Hazmat (a plus, not required)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience operating a boom truck<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with local job sites, material suppliers, and permitting\/route restrictions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to climb in\/out of cab and onto flatbed to secure loads<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to sit for extended periods while driving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ventajas:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>401(k)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>401(k) de contrapartida<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seguro dental<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cuenta de gastos flexible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seguro de enfermedad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cuenta de ahorros sanitarios<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seguro de vida<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tiempo libre retribuido<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Programa de referencia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan de jubilaci\u00f3n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reembolso de matr\u00edcula<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seguro de visi\u00f3n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If this sounds like a good fit, apply today for this position or another one of our many construction jobs by filling out an application or emailing us at <a href=\"mailto:careers@wahazel.com\">careers@wahazel.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Salario<\/strong>: Hourly $25.00 to $30.00\/hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>William A.
