Mario Zampiello embarked on his professional journey with William A Hazel, Inc. as an intern in 1986, eventually securing a full-time position as an Estimator after graduating from Virginia Tech in 1986 with a BS in Civil Engineering. Over the years, he gained extensive experience in the Site work Business, holding roles such as Estimator, Project Administrator, and Project Manager from 1987 to 2005. Recognized for his attention to detail, Mario was promoted to Contract Manager in 2005, overseeing Project Managers, contract negotiations, and contributing significantly to job cost and profitability. Transitioning to Construction Manager in 2020, he supervised the construction efforts of his project management team.

In September 2023, Mario assumed the role of Vice President of Business Development, focusing on representing the company, managing business opportunities, leading strategic planning, and cultivating relationships with clients and industry stakeholders. A local product of Vienna, Va., Mario resides in Chantilly VA with his wife Lori of 30 years and three children, expressing a passion for travel and family time.
