After many summers of punch and pipe crews, and several years as Construction Manager for a local developer, David joined William A. Hazel, Inc. full time in 1991. He opened the Fredricksburg Office for the company in 1996 and served as the Branch Manager of that office until 1998. As President of William A. Hazel, Inc., David is responsible for the successful management, direction and profitability of the company. David believes that the company's greatest asset is its employees, and tries to work with each and every one of them.

David is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Madison Virginia. He has a Liberal Arts degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia.
